The role partners closely with<br>Regional Managers, Store Managers and Finance stakeholders to monitor performance, identify risks and<br>opportunities, improve cost management, strengthen financial controls and support regional business objectives<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p>BCom Accounting, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting or equivalent. • Professional accounting qualification or relevant postgraduate qualification will be advantageous.</p><p></p><p><b>Experience </b></p><p>• 3–5 years&#39; experience in accounting, management accounting, financial analysis or financial business partnering.</p><p>• Experience in retail, FMCG, wholesale or a multi-site operational environment will be advantageous.</p><p>• Experience analysing financial and operational performance across multiple sites or stores.</p><p>• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and management reporting.</p><p>• Experience working with operational stakeholders and providing financial advice.</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h3><span>Key Responsibilities</span></h3><h3><b><span>Financial Accounting &amp; Reporting</span></b></h3><ul><li><h3><span>Prepare, review and analyse regional financial reports and management accounts.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Ensure accurate and timely accounting records and financial information.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Perform monthly reconciliations, investigate variances and resolve discrepancies.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Monitor regional income, expenditure, costs and financial performance against budgets.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Provide financial information and insights to Regional and Store Management.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Support month-end, year-end and financial reporting processes.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Ensure appropriate accounting procedures and controls are consistently applied.</span></h3></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b><span>Budgeting &amp; Financial Planning</span></b></h3><ul><li><h3><span>Support the preparation of regional budgets, forecasts and financial plans.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Monitor actual performance against budget and identify significant variances.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Provide variance analysis and recommend corrective actions where required.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Assist operational management in identifying opportunities to improve profitability and cost efficiency.</span></h3></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b><span>Financial Controls &amp; Governance</span></b></h3><ul><li><h3><span>Maintain effective financial controls across the assigned region.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Identify financial risks, control weaknesses and potential areas of loss.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Ensure compliance with company financial policies, procedures and delegated authority.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Monitor adherence to cash handling, stock, expenditure and other relevant financial controls.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Support internal and external audit processes and ensure audit findings are appropriately addressed.</span></h3></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b><span>Store &amp; Operational Support</span></b></h3><ul><li><h3><span>Partner with Regional Managers, Store Managers and operational teams on financial matters.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Provide financial guidance and interpretation of financial results to operational stakeholders.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Identify trends and financial risks that may impact store and regional performance.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Support initiatives aimed at reducing costs, improving profitability and minimising financial losses.</span></h3></li><li><h3><span>Conduct financial reviews and provide recommendations to improve operational performance.</span></h3></li></ul><h3></h3><h3><b><span>Analysis &amp;
