Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Admin Underwritings and Claims professional to join our team in Newcastle / Vrede. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of underwriting and claims processes, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administer underwriting and claims processes, including data entry, document management, and communication with clients and stakeholders
* Ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality standards
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including policy documents, claims files, and other relevant information
* Provide excellent customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Collaborate with other teams, including underwriting, claims, and sales, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory requirements, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve processes and services
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, insurance, or a related field
* At least 2 years of experience in an admin underwritings and claims role, preferably in the insurance industry
* Strong administrative skills, including data entry, document management, and communication
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond to queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and quality standards
