Job Description:
Purpose of the Job: The storeman assistant needs to keep track of what is available in the inventory, monitor current stock levels to decide if more should be ordered, and organizing existing inventory, so it is easily and safely accessible. Key Responsibilities Knowledge of stock receiving, rotation and issuing Microsoft Excel and Outlook All items issued from the Store must be recorded in the file and checked daily. Qualification Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) Knowledge of Stock Management
Experience Requirements:
At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position 1 to 2 years’ experience in stock control
Skills and Competencies:
Other Requirements Hands-on approach and ability to order goods of technical nature Required to work overtime and unusual working hours 6-day worker (weekends and public holidays)
