Responsibilities
- Receive and deposit cash deposits from drivers
- Make up bank
- Count cash received and balance with deposit slip
- Record cash and cheques in cashup summary
- Prepare deposit for bank
- Record seal numbers in register
- Ensure security of the cash
Security
- Keep the cash office door locked at all times
- No unauthorised person allowed
- Lock cash in safe overnight
- Previous days' takings to be removed from premises by 11:00 am next day
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/Matric with Mathematics
- Reside in or around Vaal
- Previous experience in a similar role or environment (cash office/banking) is advantageous
