Fedics is in search of a Catering Manager to oversee the day-to-day operational management of a Key Account. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high-quality standard of deliverables in line with site specific SLA’s, manage client relations, perform site visits, support and develop the site management. Overall responsibility is to ensure the site is managed according to budgeted costings and growth targets and to ensure all standards are adhered to in line with best practices. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all catering operations to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Drive client satisfaction through proactive stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety regulations, healthcare protocols, and legislative requirements.
  • Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor catering teams to achieve operational excellence.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Monitor food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction across operations.
  • Manage workforce planning, staffing, training, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Conduct regular site audits and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food Service Management, Catering Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' management experience within contract catering.
  • Previous catering experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, food costs, and site profitability.
  • Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene, quality assurance, and healthcare compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage large teams across multiple departments.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
