We are looking for Collection Team leader to lead from the front by driving strong individual collections while working closely with collectors on the floor to achieve team targets and reduce outstanding student debt. Manage own portfolio, including high-value and complex accounts. Achieve and exceed individual collections targets. Work side-by-side with collectors, providing real-time support and guidance. Drive daily team performance, call activity, and collections results. Handle escalations and difficult accounts. Monitor aging and ensure effective follow-ups and payment plans.
Requirements
- 4–6 years’ collections experience with a proven track record.
- Minimum 2 years in a Team Leader / Senior role.
- Must have managed a collections book value exceeding R20 million.
- Strong hands-on collections ability (non-negotiable).
