Our client is seeking to appoint a Community Development Facilitator at their mining operation near Rustenburg. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to community upliftment and stakeholder engagement in a demanding mining environment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders including DMPR, local communities, councillors, chiefs, municipalities, and school leadership.
- Drive community upliftment initiatives such as Local Economic Development and training programs.
- Manage Corporate Social Investment (CSI) projects.
- Implement and monitor Social Labour Plan (SLP) commitments.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and deliver accurate reports on community development activities.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Development Studies or Political Studies.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in community development facilitation or stakeholder management within a mining environment.
- Valid South African driver's license.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
