The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through own efforts. <br> <br>The Regulatory Compliance Team is accountable for determining, collecting, analysing and recording of compliance information and documents of our customers in terms of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act and Tax legislation (FICA/FATCA/CRS/DWT). <br><br>This specific role works with the compliance of entities, such as trusts and companies, at onboarding, disinvestment or annual review stage. The role requires extensive reading and interpretation of company documents, and considerable telephonic and email contact with customers and advisors.<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>Key responsibilities will include amongst others the following:</b></p><br /><p><span style="color:#000000"><b>Documentation Processing:</b> </span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Functions as a subject matter expert in the field of administration/product/process. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Often acts as a consultant with regards to decision-making of operational and/or tactical importance.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Often acts as a point of escalation for matters with high level of complexity. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Could be accountable for maintaining and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures.  </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Recommends system and process enhancements.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Could be accountable for testing enhancements to systems. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Coaches specialist staff.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Could act as an expert on major projects.</span></li></ul><p><span style="color:#000000"> </span></p><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><b>Operational Delivery:</b> </span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Manages daily operational (client service and or administrative) delivery within specific functional area and service levels. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Accountable for technical decision making within a specific functional area. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Could take accountability for the implementation of a strand of an operational project. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Liaises with customers and advisors on complex compliance matters, both telephonically and via email. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Work across teams where resources are required.</span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><b>Personal Effectiveness:</b> </span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Accepts and lives the company values. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Accountable for service delivery through own efforts.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Collaborates effectively with others to achieve personal results. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of 3 months.</span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Makes increased contributions by broadening individual skills.</span></li></ul><br /><p style="color:!important"><span style="color:#000000"><b>Quality Assurance:</b> </span></p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Adheres to service and quality standards. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Performs quality checks on own work. </span></li></ul><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Could be accountable for peer review/quality checks on the work of others</span>.</li></ul><br /><p>Qualifications and Experience required:</p><ul><li><span style="color:#000000">Matric or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Undergraduate degree in Law</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Minimum of 1-3 years working experience in Financial Services</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Analytical skills and attention to detail</span></li><li><span style="color:#000000">Excellent communication (verbal &amp;
