Job Purpose

As VE Group Continuous Auditing Lead, you will be operating the new Continuous Auditing Program and supporting the audit analytics tool. You will work with all VE Operating Units to review and analyse the alerts and perform related continuous audit validation activities and audit reporting.

You will develop scripts for new continuous audit analytics and maintain the portfolio of scripts and visualisations.

You will be instrumental in driving year on year improvement in the operating control environment working with a diverse team across the portfolio

Principal Accountabilities

  • Perform Continuous Auditing and through audit reporting recommend improvements to address root-causes of control deficiencies and advise the business in internal control / operational best practices & project management improvement plans
  • Maintain and operate the ACL audit tool and develop analytics scripts designed to cover key risks and the most recurring audit findings
  • Design and maintain analytics visualisations
  • Maintain analysis and escalation frameworks, which ensures the timely review of alerts and escalation of key risks to appropriate levels of management
  • Track analytics reviews and investigations across the group, ensuring adequate follow-up and timely resolution of alerts
  • Track intervention plans and escalations, share best practises.
