Ensure all meals are prepared according to recipe and quantity specifications and ensure that hygiene, housekeeping and safe working standards are maintained

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum Grade 12 is essential
  • Computer Literate – Advantageous
  • Ability to communicate in English

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that security procedures are adhered to
  • Conduct regular quality checks, ensure that stock is rotated. Damaged/expired stock is removed
  • Prevent wastage/shrinkage/damages
  • Complete all relevant administration/documentation
  • Monitor budget (expenses, turnover, gross) and take required action
  • Plan daily/weekly production of products
  • Communicate effectively with employees and management
  • Ensure that all equipment is maintained in effective working order and operated in accordance with laid down standards
