Role Summary

The driver is responsible for the deliveries, collections, vehicle maintenance and general administrative duties. The driver will be required to always provide an efficient and professional service.

Key Work Output and Accountabilities

Operational Excellence

Deliveries and collections

• Ensure deliveries are made timeously to the correct destination.
• Manage the collection of items as requested.
• Ensure confirmation receipts for delivery/collection are signed by the required person.

Vehicle Maintenance

• Ensure compliance with rules of the road at all times.
• Ensure Hospital vehicle is cleaned daily.
• Ensure the maintenance of the vehicle is carried out on a regular basis.
• Report any accidents immediately.

Education

Essential

Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.

Valid South African Driver’s License, PDP.

Work Experience

Essential

1-2 years’ Driving experience.

Knowledge

Essential

Must be able to read road maps.
