Job Description

Job Purpose To accurately capture, verify, maintain, and update data in organizational systems and databases, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability to support operational, administrative, and reporting requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Capture, verify, and update data accurately across relevant systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Review and reconcile discrepancies, maintaining high standards of data accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain organised electronic and physical records, including filing, scanning, and archiving.
  • Generate reports and analyse data to support decision-making and identify trends.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organisational policies at all times.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to uphold data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Support administrative and clerical functions, meeting defined processing targets and deadlines.
  • Manage inventory through stock takes, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.
  • Coordinate payment preparation and liaise with creditors, buyers, and key stakeholders.
  • Contribute to process improvements, facilitate meetings, support audits, and promote safety and compliance standards.

Qualification Requirements

  • Higher Certificate or Diploma in Financial accounting/Supply chain/Industrial engineering.(Advantageous)
  • Martic Grade 12 (Essential)
  • Computer Literacy MS OFFICE (Outlook/ Excel / Syspro) compulsory.

Experience Requirements

Min 1 year experience in Data Capturing preferably in the FMCG sector.

  • Good working knowledge of warehousing and store environment
  • Good working knowledge of integrated operating network systems
  • Solid knowledge of inventory management
  • Data entry and record management principles.
  • Administrative and office procedures.
  • Data protection and confidentiality requirements.
  • Basic reporting and document management processes.
  • Computer systems and database applications

  • Accurate and efficient data entry and typing skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
