Data Lead (Technology) Mr Price Group

In this role, you will partner with leaders across the organization to define their data needs and bring them together into a unified group-wide data strategy. At the same time, you will build the foundations that make this strategy possible — creating data management and quality frameworks, and empowering data stewards across the business to ensure our data is trusted, well-governed, and impactful. This is a unique opportunity to influence both the strategic direction and the practical standards of data within our organization, ensuring data becomes one of our most valuable assets</span></span></p><ul style="list-style-type:disc;"><li><p style="line-height:normal;"><span style="color:black;font-family:HelveticaNeue;">NQF level 7 (Bachelor's eg: Bcom, BSc or equivalent 3 year degree) Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></p></li><li><p style="line-height:normal;"><span style="color:black;font-family:HelveticaNeue;">High level expertise in, and detailed understanding of a number of different specialist areas within a function - Data strategies, frameworks, methodologies and governance<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></span></p></li><li><p style="line-height:normal;"><span style="color:black;font-family:HelveticaNeue;">10 -12 years experience (5 years in a Senior role)&nbsp;</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><br>Solving complex, cross-team challenges through collaboration between business and technology</li><li>Shaping ideas that improve business practices or drive strategic initiatives with the business.</li><li>Working with company policies and relevant legislation</li><li>Creating reports, procedures, and training materials</li><li>Drafting proposals, policies and project briefs</li></ul>
