Job Description:
The Deputy Director shall be responsible for the overall management of the Department of Finance and Economic Planning and shall be the head of the department.
The Deputy Director shall be responsible for the development and implementation of the departmental policies and strategies.
The Deputy Director shall be responsible for the supervision of the departmental staff and shall ensure that the departmental activities are carried out in accordance with the laid down procedures.
The Deputy Director shall be responsible for the preparation and submission of the departmental budget and shall ensure that the departmental activities are carried out within the approved budget.
The Deputy Director shall be responsible for the coordination of the departmental activities with other departments and shall ensure that the departmental activities are carried out in accordance with the laid down procedures.
The Deputy Director shall be responsible for the maintenance of the departmental records and shall ensure that the departmental activities are carried out in accordance with the laid down procedures.
The Deputy Director shall be responsible for the provision of technical advice to the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) and shall ensure that the departmental activities are carried out in accordance with the laid down procedures.
