The incumbent is responsible for deliveries and collections for the Hospital.

KEY WORK OUTPUT AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Deliveries and collections

  • Ensure deliveries are made timeously to the correct destination
  • Manage the collection of items as requested
  • Ensure confirmation receipts for delivery/collection are signed by the required person

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Ensure compliance with rules of the road at all times
  • Ensure Hospital vehicle is cleaned daily
  • Ensure the maintenance of the vehicle is carried out on a regular basis
  • Report any accidents immediately

  • Assume responsibility for own personal and professional development
  • Keep up to date with Netcare’s evolving policies and procedures

SKILLS PROFILE

EDUCATION

Essential

  • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification

WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position

KNOWLEDGE

Essential

  • Valid South African Driver’s License, PDP
  • Must be able to read road maps

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Flexibility in working hours which may include weekend and nigh shifts
  • Will interact with internal and external customers through several different means.
  • Travel based on the operational requirements of hospital.
