Exciting career opportunity for an Electrical Draughtsman within a manufacturing company. Develop complete electrical designs for HVAC/R systems. Finalise system requirements with Engineering team. Produce detailed wiring diagrams, control schematics, panel layouts, and GAs. Ensure designs meet Client functional, cost, and quality requirements. Ensure producibility, maintainability, and correct application of standards. Prepare accurate, complete, and up-to-date electrical drawings. Issue drawings to Panel Builders and verify BOM accuracy. Update drawings promptly when revisions occur. Maintain effective communication with Production and Engineering teams. Identify design issues early and prevent manufacturing problems. Support the panel-building process by clarifying technical details. Review component selections and ensure compliance with standards. Improve drawing standards, templates, and symbol libraries. Conduct Supplier research. Select appropriate electrical components for optimum performance and cost. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies and best practices.
