WUSC is seeking a Finance and Administration Officer to support the implementation of the Uniterra Volunteer Cooperation Program (VCP) in Uganda. The position will be based in Kampala, Uganda.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions, including payments, advances, and reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with donor and organizational policies.
- Support administrative tasks, including procurement and logistics.
- Maintain financial records and filing systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional accounting certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance and administration, preferably with an NGO.
- Experience with donor-funded projects, particularly Global Affairs Canada, is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team.
