Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist with basic food preparation and meal service.
• Serve food and beverages in a professional and friendly manner.
• Ensure dining, kitchen, and service areas are kept clean and hygienic.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and catering equipment as required.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating stock according to company procedures.
• Support cash handling and point-of-sale activities where applicable.
• Adhere to food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
• Assist with setting up and clearing dining and serving areas.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer requests professionally.
• Perform any additional duties required to support catering operations.

Qualifications:

• Grade 11 or Grade 12 (Matric).
• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, food service, cleaning, or customer service will be advantageous.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
