Grand Africa Initiative (GAIN ) is a Pan-African Non-governmental organization helping African young men and women, between 15 and 35 years, develop and harness their unique ideas, talents and abilities for success in education, entrepreneurship, innovation and employment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Grant and Partnership Officer to lead grant sourcing, proposal development, and donor engagement in support of our social impact programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure local and foreign grants
  • Identify and track local and international grant opportunities aligned with the Organization’s mission
  • Develop competitive grant applications
  • Manage donor relationships and communication throughout the grant lifecycle
  • Ensure compliance with donor guidelines, reporting requirements, and deadlines

Eligibility:

  • Must reside in Abuja.
  • Age: 21-29 Years
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience in grant writing, resource mobilization, or donor-funded programs and relationship management.
  • Proven experience securing and managing local and international grants is required
  • Experience winning both local and foreign grants is a strong advantage
  • Strong grant-writing, research, and budgeting skills
  • Familiarity with donor requirements, compliance, and reporting standards
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and time-management skills
  • High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
