Job Description

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional to maintain, support, and enhance our security applications across both corporate and retail environments. This role plays a critical part in identifying vulnerabilities and strengthening our security systems, solutions, and programs—ensuring robust protection for our operations and assets.

Qualifications

• Relevant diploma/Degree or Technical IT Support Courses: A+, N+, MCSE, Network Security, Cybersecurity SOC Analyst Certificate
• Min 5 years experience in desktop or IT network administration
• 1 year experience in information security or related field

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain and optimise security applications to ensure high availability and performance.
• Defining, planning, implementing, maintaining, and upgrading IT security measures, policies, and controls
• Investigate security alerts and provide incident response via the SIEM - Assists with investigations and coordinates the handling and resolution of security incidents
• Responsible for keeping the company's security systems up to date and creating documentation and planning for all security-related information, including incident response.
• Monitoring computer networks for security issues and security and privileged access
• Implement and manage Active Directory of user accounts, groups, management of MFA, and Privilege Access Management processes
• Monitoring for abuse of permissions, software or internet usage by authorised system users
• Assist with the creation, maintenance and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues
• Perform day to day operations, management and administration to protect the organisations cyber information integrity, confidentiality and availability of information assets and technology infrastructures.
• Prepare documentation (reports/standard operating procedures etc)
• Provide end user technical support for cybersecurity related projects
