Qualifications

  • Relevant Diploma or Degree in Fashion, Retail Business Management, E-commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A keen interest in pursuing a career as an Online Buyer or within the E-commerce Retail environment.

  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Passion for learning and a proactive approach to acquiring new knowledge.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in risk assessments and documentation.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Able to leverage new technology to enhance productivity, improve problem solving and support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Online Buying administration, including product setup, order creation, amendments, sample management, and liaising with Marketing on products for digital campaigns, content creation, and photoshoots.
  • Provide ad hoc Online Buying administration support.
  • Assist in researching emerging online trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity across digital retail platforms.
  • Support the Online Buying team in selecting and curating future online product ranges.
  • Analyse online sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to support informed buying decisions.
  • Share your insights and ideas on how to elevate and optimise our online product offering.
  • Gain insights by collaborating with our Planning, E-commerce, and Marketing teams and contributing to online product selections.
  • Assist with monitoring product performance and identifying opportunities to improve the online customer experience.
