Laundry Attendant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Laundry Attendant to handle washing, drying, ironing, and proper care of linens, uniforms, and other fabrics within the facility. The successful candidate will ensure that all laundry items are cleaned and maintained according to hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, uniforms, and other fabrics.
• Sort laundry according to colour, fabric type, and washing requirements.
• Operate laundry equipment such as washing machines, dryers, and pressing irons.
• Ensure proper use of detergents and cleaning chemicals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
• Inspect laundry items for damage and report issues when necessary.
• Ensure timely delivery of clean laundry to the appropriate departments.
• Follow hygiene and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is an advantage.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment properly.
• Good attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Honest, responsible, and hardworking.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
