To deliver operational legal services by drafting, reviewing, and managing legal documentation, providing research-based legal advice, supporting litigation, and ensuring accurate legal records.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Documentation & Contracts
- Draft and review commercial agreements.
- Ensure compliance with approved legal standards.
- Maintain centralized contract repository.
- Legal Advisory & Research
- Conduct legal research and draft opinions.
- Interpret legislation affecting operations.
- Litigation Support
- Prepare pleadings, affidavits, and evidence files.
- Liaise with courts and external counsel.
- Corporate Secretarial & Records
- Maintain statutory records and resolutions.
- Support corporate governance requirements.
- Risk & Compliance Support
- Identify legal risks and escalate promptly.
- Support compliance audits and investigations.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Head Legal.
Authority
- Recommend legal positions.
- Issue routine legal correspondence.
- Escalate risk issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- LLB (mandatory).
- Admission to the Bar (advantage).
- (1-2 years)
- Valid practicing license.
