Job Purpose

To provide an effective office administration and coordination support to the SHE department, ensuring accurate record-keeping, documentation and the smooth day-to-day running of operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day office administration support to the SHE Officer and the SHE department.
  • Maintain accurate filing, record-keeping and document control for the department.
  • Capture, update and manage information on relevant systems, spreadsheets and registers.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and training sessions, including invitations, agendas and minutes.
  • Compile reports, presentations and general correspondence for the department.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communication, including emails, telephone calls and general queries.
  • Support filing, scanning and archiving of departmental documentation and correspondence.
  • Provide general administrative assistance to ensure the smooth running of the SHE department.
  • Handle confidential information in line with POPIA and company policy.

Qualification Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Essential)
  • Tertiary qualification in Office Administration or Business and Information Management (Essential)

Experience Requirements

  • No work experience is required
  • Ad hoc roles or internships while studying will be advantageous

Knowledge:

Computer literacy (MS Office – Word/EXCEL/Outlook)

  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to manage competing priorities
