Operations consultants play a key role in upholding the operational quality that supports our retail investment offering. Work in this space includes validating and processing clients’ financial transactions within a regulated framework, engaging with clients, advisers and administrators to ensure compliance, resolving queries and more.
What to expect:

- Working closely with teams responsible for workflow, client data and regulatory processes
- Contributing to improvements in quality checks, transaction journeys and turnaround times
Operations consultants handle client instructions and operational processes. In this role, you will learn how regulatory requirements shape everyday decision‑making, and how to navigate systems, investment instructions and workflows accurately and consistently.

You will be processing and validating client transactions, supporting workflow steps across Retail Operations, resolving queries and helping ensure that our processes comply with regulatory requirements. You will regularly engage with clients, independent financial advisers, administrators and other teams in the business to ensure that instructions are processed accurately and within the regulated framework.
The ideal candidate for the operations consultant role is either a final-year student or graduate with a degree in Commerce or Business Science and a grade point average of 60% or higher. We seek candidates who are analytical, curious, disciplined, strong communicators and eager to grow professionally. Adaptability, independence of thought and a willingness to engage with complex transaction instructions are key strengths.
New operations consultants in the Retail Operations team complete a comprehensive training programme, which includes structured orientation over four weeks, product education and systems training.
