Pharmacy Sales Assistant

About the Role:

Medirite Plus Soshanguve is seeking a customer-focused, hard-working pharmacy sales assistant to ensure the smooth operation of in-store retail operations. Responsibilities include greeting customers, monitoring customer activity to prevent shoplifting, arranging visual displays, processing customer refunds, and identifying customers' needs to suggest suitable products.

What you'll do:

• Handle payments and balance sales and receipts according to company procedure.
• Keep product knowledge up to date and maintain awareness of new products.
• Restock items and organize the sales floor according to standard operating procedures.
• Conduct regular price audits to identify and rectify price discrepancies.
• Process customer payments using the store's Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain product knowledge to offer advice and recommendations.
• Stay up to date on all promotions and special offers.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and conduct proper housekeeping.
• Handle all customer queries promptly and escalate to higher management when necessary.

What you bring:

• Grade 12 qualification
• At least 5 months of point of sale / till point experience within a retail environment.
• Proven retail sales experience.
