We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Production Chef to join our corporate catering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing large-scale food production, ensuring consistent quality, managing production schedules, and maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards within a busy corporate dining environment. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily food production in line with menus, recipes, and client requirements.
  • Prepare and produce high-volume meals while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Plan and coordinate food production to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Monitor portion control, food costs, and minimise wastage.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and health & safety standards.
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Assist with menu planning, recipe standardisation, and product development.
  • Conduct stock control, stock rotation, and inventory management.
  • Ensure all equipment and production areas are clean, safe, and maintained.
  • Support special events, functions, and hospitality requirements.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through quality food and service delivery.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience managing high-volume food production.
  • Sound knowledge of food preparation, menu planning, and cost control.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Proven leadership and staff supervision experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Good communication and organisational skills

Qualifications:

Relevant Chef or Culinary qualification. Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a production kitchen, contract catering, hospitality, or corporate dining environment.
