text-align: justify;"><i><strong>Preference will be given, but not limited to candidates from designated groups in terms of the Employment Equity Act</strong></i></p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Conduct quality assurance inspections on furniture prototypes to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Evaluate prototype construction, comfort, durability, fit, finish and upholstery quality to identify potential risks and opportunities for improvement.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Manage and communicate design and construction changes, ensuring all updates are accurately reflected in technical documentation and production information.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Lead the prototype-to-production handover process, ensuring complete technical packs, accurate specifications, and production readiness.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Compile quality assurance reports, maintain change records, and provide recommendations to support product quality and continuous improvement.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Collaborate closely with designers, frame developers, pattern makers, and upholsterers to support successful product launches and manufacturing processes.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Maintain high prototype approval rates and reduce production defects through effective quality assurance processes.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Ensure accurate implementation and timely communication of all approved design changes.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Facilitate successful production handovers without queries and delays.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Meet prototype review and processing targets within agreed turnaround times.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Identify opportunities to improve manufacturability, reduce costs, and minimise material waste.</p></li><li class="ortl-align-justify"><p style="text-align: justify;">Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready technical documentation and quality records.</p></li></ul>
