Job Description
The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) is looking for a Senior Manager: Internal Audit to join the Internal Audit Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in the development and execution of a comprehensive risk-based audit plan, ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes within the SARB.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing the internal audit team
- Developing and implementing audit strategies
- Conducting risk assessments
- Preparing audit reports
- Presenting findings to senior management and the Audit Committee
Qualifications and experience:
- A relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., CA(SA), CIA, CISA)
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in internal audit, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
- Extensive knowledge of internal auditing standards, risk management, and governance frameworks
The position is based in Pretoria, South Africa.
