Visit our website: www.rclfoods.com Siqalo Foods is seeking a SHE Facilitator for their Spreads Division. The role will be based in Boksburg and will report into a SHE Compliance Officer. Purpose of the role: To facilitate the implementation of the SHE systems to reduce Occupational Health, Safety, and environmental risks.

Minimum Requirements:
National Diploma in Safety Management or Equivalent or Bachelor’s Degree/B-tech in Environmental or Safety Management (safety management preferred or Samtrac At least 3 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/chemical/production environment performing a similar role ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 Implementation Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) Waste Management Course Incident Instigation course

Duties & Responsibilities:
Risk Assist management & supervision in compiling HIRA’s and ERA’s for their areas Ensure compliance to the legal requirements (OHSAct, NEMA & other related legislation) and develop measures to address/mitigate risks. Provide inputs into any Modifications, Works Programs & Authorizations for production facilities Compliance to SHE management system Maintaining certification for the organization/site (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification) Compile, review and audit of procedures and systems Assist in the closing of findings after certification audits Participate in internal audits & inspections to ensure compliance & conformance Perform planned task observations at the plants Non-conformance and deviations are identified and corrected Unsafe acts and conditions identified and reported to management Emergency Preparedness Participate in Emergency exercises for the site Drive gap closure against non compliance Respond to all emergencies, as required and be on standby Ensure all plants have emergency plans in place Incident management Investigate incidents for the site Reporting of incidents to Department of Labour Compile incident investigation reports, as per RDM reporting standards Ensure Corrective/Preventative Actions are implemented to prevent recurrence Communication and Awareness Participate & Attend SHE meetings Issue/verbal communication relating to SHE Investigate and follow up on complaints from employees, as well as from outside the company. Communicate legal updates to the relevant plants and management Communicate statistics and trends to employees at various platforms Legal Ensure the site & its plants have all Permits, licenses, certificates, authorizations required to operate (“Licence to operate”) Ensure compliance to the requirements of any permits, licenses, certificates or authorizations. Ensure Legal compliance audits are conducted, and all findings addressed for the site/plants
