The successful candidate will be responsible for keeping track of stock levels, monitoring expiration dates and ensuring proper storage conditions, receiving all the stock from the suppliers and issuing of all stock. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming stock and deliveries.
- Ensure that received quantities and quality match purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Store stock correctly according to food safety and stock management principles.
- Issue stock to operational departments as required and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct regular stock counts and assist with month-end stock takes.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure stock rotation practices (FIFO) are consistently applied.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and security of all storerooms.
- Assist with inventory administration and stock reporting.
- Adhere to company policies, health and safety regulations, and food safety standards.

Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a stores, inventory, or stock control environment.
- Experience within catering, hospitality, or food service industries will be advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and stock management systems.
- Good numerical and administrative skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
