Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vehicle Auction Operations Controller to join our team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our vehicle auction business, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage the vehicle auction operations, including the coordination of auctions, vehicle preparation, and sales
* Develop and implement strategies to improve auction performance and increase revenue
* Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that all vehicles are sold at the best possible price
* Maintain accurate records and reports, including auction results, sales data, and customer information
* Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
* Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
* Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and colleagues

Requirements:

* 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
* Proven track record of success in managing auction operations and improving performance
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
* Strong customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
