Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Auction Operations Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our vehicle auction business, including managing the auction process, coordinating with vendors and customers, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the auction process, including preparing and executing auctions, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers to ensure smooth execution of auctions and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve auction efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for process enhancements.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of auction results and other key performance indicators.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and make recommendations for process improvements and new initiatives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the vehicle auction industry.
- Proven track record of success in managing auction operations, including experience with vendor relationships and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration or operations management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with auction software and systems, including XAuction and other industry-specific tools.
- Ability to travel occasionally, as needed.
