TsAfrika is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Vending Assistant to support the day-to-day operation of vending services. The successful candidate will be responsible for stocking vending machines, monitoring product availability, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring excellent customer service. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Refill and replenish vending machines with products according to stock requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the relevant Supervisor.
  • Ensure vending machines are clean, operational, and well-presented at all times.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure products are fresh, correctly displayed, and within expiry dates.
  • Assist with stock receiving, inventory management, and stock control processes.
  • Report machine faults, maintenance issues, and product discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock usage and replenishment activities.
  • Adhere to food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
  • Assist with general vending operations and administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in retail, food service, vending, or a customer service environment will be advantageous.
  • Basic numerical and stock control skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move stock when required.
  • Basic computer literacy will be advantageous.
