About the role:

What you'll do:
Assist in the implementation of employee engagement and talent development initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture. Support the human resources team with day-to-day HR administration and employee support services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Respond promptly and professionally to employee queries, providing information and guidance where appropriate. Utilise HR information systems to update employee details and generate reports to support decision-making. Coordinate and schedule meetings, training sessions, and HR-related events under supervision. Assist in the onboarding process for new employees, including documentation and orientation activities. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient HR processes and support a technology-enabled work environment. Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing workforce productivity and operational excellence. Demonstrate professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical HR practices at all times.

What you bring:
Minimum National Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Basic understanding of Human Resources principles and labour legislation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Familiarity with HR information systems or willingness to learn HR technology tools. Excellent organisational and time management abilities. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is advantageous. Willingness to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
