To provide administrative support to the Faculty Office in respect of all Faculty administrative processes, in order to ensure alignment and compliance with central administrative systems and procedures; and to provide a professional support service to academics, students and staff. Reporting to the Faculty Manager, the appointee’s duties will include, but not be limited to the administration and execution of the following tasks: Academic Administration, Enquiry Management, Committee Administration, Marketing and Recruitment, General Administration, Performing any other administrative duties as may be assigned by the Dean or Faculty Manager.
Minimum Requirements
- A Degree / National Diploma or equivalent at NQF level 7
- At least three years relevant experience in a Higher Education environment
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge of university administrative systems
- Experience working as a Faculty Administrative Officer
- Experience with committee administration
- Experience with promotions
- Proficiency in computer programmes/software packages
- Experience with the SASI & MAS systems
