Job Description

The incumbent is primarily responsible for assisting in the efficient running of the Onboarding HUB through sound people management, good administrative and compliance practices.

We are looking for qualified and experienced **Contractor HUB Coordinator** for Lumwana

Role Responsibility includes:

  • Engage with existing Contractors to provide information relating to KBC services
  • Ensure that the Mining Legal Appointments have been completed
  • Manage contractor onboarding

Contractor management value-chain consists of the following activities:

  • Arrange medical bookings
  • Arranged criminal screening bookings
  • Arrange induction training and other mandatory training (1st Aid, Fire Fighting, working at heights etc)
  • Arrange site access for onboarded contractors
  • Attend weekly SHE meetings
  • Manage compliance of contractor’s safety files
  • Manage access control of contractor employees due to non-compliance or on request from Safety Officer and Human Resources
  • Ensure that all contractors are assisted with onboarding and resolution of queries
  • Liaise with contractor companies daily regarding their compliance, challenges and queries
  • Ensure the process activities are captured on the relevant onboarding systems

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 coupled with any relevant 3-year qualification

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience managing the end-to-end contractor onboarding process.
  • Experience within the following industries will be preferable (mining, construction and petrochemical industries)
  • Experience in streamlining and improving contractor onboarding processes
  • Solid experience in compiling and managing compliance of contractor safety files
  • Proven experience in working on various onboarding e.g. Passport 360, SAP Fieldglass and Damstra
  • Strong knowledge of MHSA
  • Good customer service and relationship skills
  • Strong Communication skills is mandatory
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Valid passport
  • Medically fit according to the occupational health requirements of KBC’s client
